🔍 What Is AI Visibility?
AI Visibility is a Search Atlas feature that tracks how your brand and content appear across AI-powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and others. It gives you actionable data on your presence in large language model (LLM) responses, helping you optimise for the growing share of search happening through AI tools.
Access to AI Visibility — and the number of LLM platforms you can monitor — depends on your subscription plan. Some platforms are gated and display a locked state with an upgrade prompt until you move to an eligible plan.
📊 What's Included in the Growth Plan?
The Growth plan at $199/month unlocks full access to AI Visibility features, including:
- Monitoring across a broader set of LLM platforms (locked platforms become active after upgrading)
- The AI Visibility dashboard at Left sidebar → AI Visibility
- QUEST LLM Visibility tools found at Left sidebar → Authority → QUEST LLM Visibility
- Expanded Authority tools including Cloud Stacks, URL Indexer, Campaigns, and Inbox
- Increased limits across other core Search Atlas features
Any platform card showing a lock icon or an Upgrade call-to-action in your current plan will become fully accessible after upgrading to Growth.
⚙️ How to Upgrade Before Your Free Trial Ends
- Log in to your Search Atlas account.
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the platform to open the Account Menu.
- Select Billing from the dropdown, then open Plans & Top-ups.
- Select the Growth — $199/month plan from the available options.
- Review what's included in the plan summary on that screen before confirming.
- Enter or confirm your payment details and click Change Plan (or Add Payment Method if needed).
Your upgraded access takes effect immediately. All previously locked AI Visibility platforms will become available without requiring a page refresh in most cases — if a platform card still shows as locked, refresh your browser.
👀 How to Preview AI Visibility Before Upgrading
You can explore the AI Visibility section during your free trial to see the interface and available platform cards. To navigate there, go to Left sidebar → AI Visibility (URL: /llm-visibility). Platform cards that require a higher plan will display a lock icon and an Upgrade button — clicking that button takes you directly to the plan selection screen so you can upgrade in context.
This lets you see exactly which platforms are gated on your current plan before you commit to upgrading.
💡 Tips for Getting the Most Out of AI Visibility
- After upgrading, give the platform up to 24 hours to populate initial LLM tracking data for newly unlocked platforms.
- Use Left sidebar → Authority → QUEST LLM Visibility alongside the main AI Visibility dashboard for deeper LLM-specific insights.
- Check your AI Visibility overview card regularly — it surfaces which platforms show your brand and how frequently.
- If a platform card still shows "Coming soon" after upgrading, it may be pending a platform-side integration update; the team is actively rolling out full coverage.
🛠️ Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Locked platforms after upgrading: Hard-refresh your browser (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows, Cmd + Shift + R on Mac) and navigate back to AI Visibility.
- Upgrade button not responding: Clear your browser cache or try a different browser, then attempt the upgrade again.
- Trial ended before upgrading: You can still upgrade from the Billing section — your data and settings are retained.
- Unsure which plan fits your needs: Review the plan comparison on the Billing screen or reach out via the chat widget below.
