This article explains how to change the topics tracked in your AI Visibility project. If Fin or a teammate directed you to update your topics but you weren't sure where to go or how to confirm the change saved correctly, this guide covers the exact steps.
📍 Where to Find It
In the left sidebar of the platform, click AI Visibility (URL: /llm-visibility). This opens your AI Visibility dashboard where your project settings and tracked topics are managed.
🛠️ Step-by-Step
- In the left sidebar, click AI Visibility to open the AI Visibility dashboard.
- Select the project you want to edit, or create a new one if you haven't set one up yet.
- Open your project settings — look for a Settings, Edit Project, or gear icon within the project view.
- Locate the Topics section inside the project settings. This is where your tracked topics are listed.
- To remove an existing topic, click the X or Delete icon next to it.
- To add a new topic, type your desired topic into the input field and confirm by pressing Enter or clicking Add.
- Once all your topics are updated, click Save to apply the changes.
✅ How to Confirm It Worked
After saving, return to your project's main view inside AI Visibility. Your updated topics should now appear in the topics list — the old topics you removed should no longer be visible, and any new ones you added should be displayed. If the project has already run a report cycle, you may need to trigger a refresh or wait for the next scheduled scan for the new topics to populate with data. If the topics list still shows the old values after saving, try refreshing your browser before retrying the steps above.
