🔍 What Is OTTO MetaSync?
OTTO MetaSync is the Search Atlas tool that automatically deploys on-page SEO changes — including breadcrumbs and schema markup — directly to your website. Both features are enabled by default to improve your site's search visibility, but you can disable either one at any time from within your OTTO MetaSync settings.
🍞 How to Disable Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs add a navigational trail to your pages and inject breadcrumb schema automatically. To turn them off, locate the breadcrumbs setting within your OTTO MetaSync configuration for your connected site and disable it. The exact location of this setting may vary depending on your account setup.
Note: Disabling breadcrumbs removes both the visual breadcrumb trail and the associated breadcrumb schema from your pages going forward.
📋 How to Disable Schema Markup
Schema markup helps search engines understand your page content. If you prefer to manage schema independently or need to disable it for a specific reason, locate the schema markup setting within your OTTO MetaSync configuration for your connected site and disable it.
Note: Schema and breadcrumbs are managed as separate settings. You can disable one without affecting the other. Review both settings individually to make sure each is set to your preference.

- SEO impact: Breadcrumbs and schema markup contribute to your site's search performance and rich result eligibility. Disabling them may reduce your visibility in search results over time.
- Re-enabling: You can turn either feature back on at any time by returning to your OTTO MetaSync settings and switching the setting back to enabled.
