🏆 How to Publish Trophy Content to a Client Site

This article explains how to connect your trophy content to a client site and publish it successfully. If you have been unable to locate the right section, the steps below will guide you to the exact location and confirm that your content has been published correctly.

📍 Where to Find It

Trophy content publishing is managed within the OTTO SEO section of the platform. To get there, navigate to Left sidebar → OTTO SEO → Overview. From the Overview page you can access your connected sites and their associated content publishing options.

🛠️ Step-by-Step

  1. In the left sidebar, click OTTO SEO to open the OTTO SEO section.
  2. Select Overview from the sub-navigation that appears.
  3. Locate the client site you want to publish trophy content to. If the site has not been connected yet, click Create to add a new site, or use Continue installation under Left sidebar → OTTO SEO → Installation Guide to complete the connection for an existing site.
  4. Once the site is connected and OTTO is active, click Engage OTTO on the Overview page for that site.
  5. Within the site's OTTO dashboard, locate the trophy content you want to publish. Select the piece of content and follow the on-screen prompts to push it to the connected client site.
  6. Confirm that the target site's credentials and publishing permissions are correctly configured — if the publish option is greyed out or missing, return to Installation Guide and complete any outstanding installation steps.

✅ How to Confirm It Worked

After publishing, verify success by checking the following:

  • Return to Left sidebar → OTTO SEO → Overview and open the client site. The published content should appear with a status reflecting it has been sent to the site (e.g., a published or live indicator).
  • Visit the client website directly in a browser and confirm the trophy content is visible on the expected page.
  • If you use Left sidebar → OTTO SEO → Site Audit → Page Explorer, the newly published page should appear in the page list for that site, confirming it has been indexed by the crawler.
