How URL Indexer Quota Resets Work

Most Search Atlas quotas reset automatically on your monthly billing date. However, there is a known issue where URL Indexer credits may fail to refresh on the expected billing date, causing them to appear stale or fully consumed even when you have not submitted URLs recently.

Why Your Credits May Show as Fully Consumed

If your URL Indexer quota has not reset as expected after your billing date, this is likely related to a platform-level issue affecting credit refresh for the URL Indexer tool. This is a bug that requires investigation by our team on the backend — there are no self-serve steps that will resolve it directly.

What to Have Ready When Escalating

To help our team investigate and resolve your quota reset issue as quickly as possible, please have the following information ready before reaching out:

  • Your account email address associated with your Search Atlas subscription.
  • Your billing date — the date on which your monthly cycle was expected to reset.
  • The credit amounts displayed — specifically, how many URL Indexer credits are shown as available versus consumed.
  • Your current plan name, so our team can verify your expected quota allocation.
  • Any relevant screenshots of the quota display showing the unexpected state.

Our team will review your account on the backend and manually trigger or correct the quota reset where needed.
