Hyperdrive credits are the internal currency of the Search Atlas platform, used to pay for premium features such as the URL Indexer. Understanding how credits work as currency helps you budget them across your projects.
Credits are currency, not a fixed per-URL ratio. One Hyperdrive credit is equal to $1 of platform currency, and credit balances can be fractional (for example, 8.2 credits). There is no fixed "1 credit = N URLs indexed" conversion rate for the URL Indexer or any other tool — the actual cost of indexing a given number of URLs depends on the current pricing for that feature at the time of use.
Because credits work as currency rather than a fixed ratio, the best way to know exactly how many URLs you can index with your current balance is to check the cost shown at the point of use in the URL Indexer itself.
