Overview

If you are managing SEO for multiple clients, upgrading from a single-site plan to the Growth plan unlocks multi-site support and gives you access to the full suite of Search Atlas tools. This article explains what to prepare and who to contact when upgrading your plan and connecting a Google Search Console (GSC) property for a new client.

When Should You Upgrade to Growth?

Consider upgrading to the Growth plan if any of the following apply to you:

  • You are onboarding a new client and have reached your single-site limit.
  • You need to run separate site projects with independent GSC connections.
  • You want access to advanced features such as Keyword Gap analysis and expanded Rank Tracker limits.

The Growth plan supports multiple site projects, making it the recommended choice for agencies and consultants managing more than one website.

How to Upgrade Your Plan

To upgrade your plan, click your avatar in the top-right corner, select Billing, and open the Plans & Top-ups tab (Billing). From there you can review available plans and select the Growth plan to begin the upgrade process. If you do not see a clear upgrade option, or if you encounter any issue during checkout, contact our support team directly — they can confirm the correct navigation steps for your account and assist with completing the upgrade.

Your new plan limits take effect immediately after payment is confirmed. You will not lose any existing site data during the upgrade.

How to Connect a New GSC Property

Once your plan is upgraded, you can add a new site project and connect a Google Search Console property for your client. The general process involves:

  1. Navigating to your site list within Search Atlas.
  2. Adding a new site or project and entering the client's website URL.
  3. Selecting Google Search Console as the data source when prompted.
  4. Signing in with the Google account that has access to the client's GSC property and granting the necessary permissions.
  5. Selecting the correct GSC property and saving the connection.

Because the exact button labels and menu locations may vary depending on your plan and account configuration, if you get stuck at any step our support team can walk you through the process in real time. Before reaching out, have the following ready:

  • Your current plan name and the plan you wish to upgrade to.
  • The client's website URL you want to add.
  • The Google account email address associated with the client's GSC property.
  • Any error messages you see, along with the approximate time they occurred.

After a successful connection, Search Atlas will begin importing GSC data for the new site. Initial data may take a few minutes to populate depending on the volume of historical data in the connected property.

Verify the GSC Connection Is Working

After connecting, confirm that site data is appearing in your Search Atlas dashboard for the new property. If data does not appear within a reasonable time, or if you see a connection error, reach out to our support team with the details noted above.

If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.
