🔍 AI Visibility Credits, Limits, and Topics & Queries

🔍 What Is AI Visibility? AI Visibility is a Search Atlas tool that tracks how your brand and competitors appear in AI-generated answers from large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. You can access it by navigating to Left sidebar → AI Visibility (URL: /llm-visibility). To measure your AI presence, the tool runs queries against LLMs and analyses the responses. Each query consumes credits from your plan's quota. 💳 How AI Visibility Credits Work Credits are the currency used every time AI Visibility submits a query to an LLM on your behalf. Each query run deducts credits from the balance associated with your subscription plan. If you are unsure how many credits remain on your account or how credits are allocated across your plan, the Support team can look up your current balance and explain how usage is calculated for your specific subscription. To find out about your credit balance or usage rules, open the chat widget and connect with a teammate — see the contact instructions at the bottom of this article. 📊 Topic and Query Limits per Project Each AI Visibility project has limits on the number of topics and queries you can add, and these limits vary by subscription plan. The key distinctions are: - Topics are the broad subject areas or categories you want to monitor (for example, "SEO software" or "link building tools"). - Queries are the specific questions or prompts submitted to the LLM under each topic (for example, "What is the best SEO platform for agencies?"). If you are unsure what limits apply to your current plan, or if you have hit a limit and need it reviewed, the Support team can confirm the exact caps tied to your subscription and advise on next steps — including whether an upgrade would increase your allowance. To get your exact limits confirmed, use the contact instructions at the bottom of this article and have your project name and subscription plan ready. 🗂️ How the Topics & Queries Tab Works The Topics & Queries tab inside an AI Visibility project is where you organise what you want to track. Here is how to use it effectively: 1. Open AI Visibility from the left sidebar and select or create a project. 2. Navigate to Topics & Queries within the project (Left sidebar → AI Visibility → [project] → Topics & Queries). 3. Use the available options within the tab to add, edit, or remove topics and the queries nested under them. 4. If you encounter an error, a limit warning, or cannot save changes, note the exact message shown and reach out to the Support team with your project name and the error text so they can investigate. If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

⚡ AI Visibility Credits, Limits, and Query Management

What Is AI Visibility? AI Visibility (also called LLM Visibility) is a Search Atlas feature that tracks how your brand and content appear in AI-generated responses from large language models. It monitors specific topics and queries across your projects and uses a credit-based system to control usage. How AI Visibility Credits Work Credits are consumed each time the system scans a query against an AI model. Understanding how credits are used helps you get the most from your plan without running out unexpectedly. - Each tracked query uses credits when it is scanned. - Queries can be added automatically by the system or manually by you. Your credit usage may vary depending on the source of each query. - Credits apply to your account and to the projects using AI Visibility. - You can monitor your remaining credits inside the platform to avoid unexpected interruptions to tracking. Topics and Queries: What Are the Limits? AI Visibility is organised around topics, which group related queries together for tracking. Each project has limits on how many topics and queries it can track at one time. - Topics represent broad themes or subject areas relevant to your brand or niche. - Queries are the specific questions or search phrases tracked within each topic. - The number of topics and queries you can track per project depends on your current subscription plan. - When you reach your topic or query limit, you will need to remove existing items before adding new ones, or upgrade your plan to increase your limits. How to Manage AI Visibility To manage your AI Visibility topics, queries, and credits, navigate to the AI Visibility section within the Search Atlas platform. From there you can: - View active topics and queries for each project. - Add new queries manually to an existing topic. - Remove topics or queries you no longer need to free up capacity. - Check your remaining credit balance and current plan limits. If you are unsure where to find these settings or encounter an error while managing your topics or queries, please reach out to our support team for guidance. When doing so, have your project name, a description of the action you were trying to take, and any error message you received ready so our team can assist you as quickly as possible. 🧠 How to Customize AI Visibility Project Topics

This article explains how to change the topics tracked in your AI Visibility project. If Fin or a teammate directed you to update your topics but you weren't sure where to go or how to confirm the change saved correctly, this guide covers the exact steps. 📍 Where to Find It In the left sidebar of the platform, click AI Visibility (URL: /llm-visibility). This opens your AI Visibility dashboard where your project settings and tracked topics are managed. 🛠️ Step-by-Step 1. In the left sidebar, click AI Visibility to open the AI Visibility dashboard. 2. Select the project you want to edit, or create a new one if you haven't set one up yet. 3. Open your project settings — look for a Settings, Edit Project, or gear icon within the project view. 4. Locate the Topics section inside the project settings. This is where your tracked topics are listed. 5. To remove an existing topic, click the X or Delete icon next to it. 6. To add a new topic, type your desired topic into the input field and confirm by pressing Enter or clicking Add. 7. Once all your topics are updated, click Save to apply the changes. ✅ How to Confirm It Worked After saving, return to your project's main view inside AI Visibility. Your updated topics should now appear in the topics list — the old topics you removed should no longer be visible, and any new ones you added should be displayed. If the project has already run a report cycle, you may need to trigger a refresh or wait for the next scheduled scan for the new topics to populate with data. If the topics list still shows the old values after saving, try refreshing your browser before retrying the steps above. If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be connected with a member of our team.

📊 Exporting Query-Level Data from AI Visibility

📋 Overview The AI Visibility report helps you track how your brand appears across AI-powered search platforms. Customers sometimes notice that when exporting data, results show topics rather than the individual queries behind them. This article explains the current export behaviour and what to expect. 🔍 What the Export Currently Includes When you export data from the AI Visibility report, the CSV file is structured around topics — the grouped categories that Search Atlas uses to organise your tracked queries. Full query-level detail (individual search queries mapped to each topic) is not included in the exported file at this time. This means that if you are tracking a large number of queries, the export will reflect topic-level aggregates rather than a row-by-row breakdown of every individual query. ⚙️ How to Access Your Full Query List Inside the Platform While the export does not yet include query-level rows, you can view your complete list of tracked queries directly inside the AI Visibility dashboard. Follow these steps: 1. Log in to Search Atlas and navigate to your project. 2. Open AI Visibility from the left sidebar and select your project. 3. Select the Topics & Queries tab within the project. 4. Scroll through the full list of tracked queries. The platform now displays all your tracked queries without the previous 10-row display cap, so your complete query set is visible. 5. Use the available filters (platform, date range, sentiment, visibility score) to narrow down the data you need. Reviewing your queries inside the platform gives you access to per-query metrics including platform-level visibility, sentiment, and citation data that are not available in the current CSV export. 📅 Date Range and Display Notes Keep the following in mind when reviewing your AI Visibility data: - The report supports a date range of up to 31 days per view. - All tracked queries are now fully visible in the dashboard — the earlier limit that capped the display at 10 queries per page has been removed. - Topic groupings in the dashboard show up to 7 topics in the summary view; switch to the detailed query view to see data beyond the top topics. 🚀 What's Coming Next The Search Atlas team is actively working to extend the CSV export to include additional data points. An upcoming update is currently in review that will bring Sentiment, Citations, and Visibility Score Rank data into the exported file. Query-level export improvements are part of the broader roadmap for the AI Visibility feature. Once these updates are released, you will be able to pull a more complete dataset — including individual queries — directly from the export function. 💡 Workaround: Capturing Query Data Now Until query-level export is available, here are practical ways to capture the data you need: - Screenshot or screen-record the Queries view in the dashboard for a quick visual reference. - Use browser developer tools or copy-paste the query table into a spreadsheet if you need an ad-hoc extract. - Filter by individual topics in the dashboard to focus on specific query groups and note the associated metrics manually. 🛠️ Need More Help? Overview When you export a report from the AI Visibility section, the downloaded file currently does not include the individual queries tracked within your report. This article explains the current export behaviour, what you can do in the meantime, and how to reach our team if you need further help. 🔍 How to Configure Custom AI Visibility Topics

This article explains how to set up custom topics in the AI Visibility section of Search Atlas, so the platform tracks the conversations and themes that matter most to your business — not just the defaults. 📍 Where to Find It Navigate to AI Visibility using the left sidebar to open the AI Visibility dashboard. Topic configuration settings are located within this section of the platform. 🛠️ How to Configure Custom Topics Custom topic configuration in AI Visibility is currently handled by the Search Atlas support team. Because the exact steps and available controls depend on your account setup, our team will walk you through the process directly and make any needed changes on your behalf. To get this set up as quickly as possible, please have the following ready when you reach out: - The name of your Search Atlas project or account - The default topics you want to remove (if any) - The custom topic names you want to add, along with a brief description of what each topic should track (e.g., a product category, a brand term, or a common customer question) - Any screenshot or example that illustrates the topics or themes you have in mind Once you provide this information, our team can configure your custom topics and confirm when the dashboard has been updated. 💡 Tips - Custom topics should reflect the specific themes, products, or questions most relevant to your brand — for example, a product category name or a common customer concern. - You can request multiple custom topics and ask for any defaults that are not relevant to your goals to be removed. - Changes to topics affect data collection going forward; historical data will reflect the topics that were active at the time it was collected.
