This article explains how to publish trophy content and connect it to your site inside Search Atlas. Follow the steps below based on your integration type to publish your content and confirm the connection is working correctly.
📍 Accessing Trophy Content in Content Genius
Trophy content is managed through the Content Genius area of the platform. To get there: go to the left sidebar → Content → Content Genius. From here you can access existing content pieces and publishing options.
🛠️ How to Publish Trophy Content
Once you are inside Content Genius and have located your trophy content piece, follow these steps:
- Open the trophy content piece you want to publish by clicking its title.
- Review the content and confirm it is ready to publish.
- Locate the Publish option within the content editor. Depending on your integration, this will either push the content directly to your connected site or provide you with export options.
- If you are using the WordPress Plugin: make sure the plugin is installed and your site is connected to your Search Atlas project. Use the publish action to send the content directly to WordPress as a draft or live post.
- If you are publishing manually: copy the content and publish it on your site independently, then return to Search Atlas to link the live URL to the content piece.
🔗 How to Connect Published Content to Your Site
After publishing, you need to link the live URL of the page back to the content piece in Search Atlas so that rankings and performance data populate correctly:
- Return to the trophy content piece inside Content Genius.
- Locate the field for the live URL or target page URL within the content piece settings.
- Enter the full URL of the published page on your site.
- Save the connection. Search Atlas will begin tracking rankings and data for that URL within your project.
✅ Confirming the Connection Is Working
After saving the URL connection, allow some time for data to populate. You can verify the connection is active by checking that the content piece shows a linked URL and that ranking data begins appearing for the associated keywords within your project dashboard.
🆘 If You Get Stuck
If you cannot find the publish option, the URL field is not saving, or data is not populating after connecting your page, have the following ready before reaching out:
- The name of your project in Search Atlas
- Whether your site uses the WordPress Plugin or another integration
- The name or title of the trophy content piece
- The live URL of the page, if already published
- A description of where you are getting stuck and any exact error messages you have encountered
