The Search Atlas Starter plan includes a monthly allocation of AI-generated articles through the Write With AI feature inside Content Genius (What are we writing today?). Understanding your quota helps you plan your content production and avoid unexpected limits mid-month.
📊 How Many Articles Can I Write Per Month?
On the Starter plan, you receive 4 articles per month using the Write With AI feature. This quota resets at the start of each new billing cycle.
- Each time you generate a full article using Write With AI, it counts as 1 article toward your monthly quota.
- Partial generations, outlines, or edits to already-generated content do not consume additional article credits.
- Unused article credits do not roll over to the following month.
🗂️ Where to Find the Write With AI Feature
You can access Write With AI through Content Genius. To navigate there:
- Click Content in the left sidebar.
- Select Content Genius (What are we writing today?) from the menu.
- Open an existing document or create a new one to access the Write With AI option.
📈 Checking Your Remaining Article Credits
You can monitor your current usage and remaining article credits directly within your account. Your quota usage is displayed inside Content Genius (What are we writing today?) so you always know how many articles you have left before your quota resets.

If 4 articles per month is not enough for your content goals, upgrading your plan unlocks a higher article quota along with additional Search Atlas features. To explore available plans:
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the platform.
- Select Billing, then open the Plans & Top-ups tab (Billing) to review options that best fit your needs.
💡 Tips for Making the Most of Your Starter Quota
- Plan topics in advance — Use the Content Planner (Left sidebar → Content → Content Planner) to identify your highest-priority articles before generating them.
- Use Topical Maps for strategy — Navigate to Left sidebar → Content → Topical Maps to build a focused content strategy so each article credit is used on the most impactful topic.
- Refine with On-Page Audit — After generating an article, use Left sidebar → Content → On-Page Audit to optimise and improve your content without spending additional credits.
- Leverage AI Content Templates — For shorter content needs, Left sidebar → Content → AI Content Templates can help you create meta descriptions, outlines, and more without consuming your article quota.
