The Link Building Exchange (also called the Publisher Exchange) is not located in the main left sidebar. It is accessed through the App Ecosystem menu in your account settings. If you previously found it in a different location, it may have moved during a platform update. This article shows you exactly where to find it today.
🧭 How to Access the Link Building Exchange
- Click your avatar or profile icon in the top-right corner of the platform.
- Select App Ecosystem from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Publisher Exchange tab.
- Click Go to Link Laboratory to open the full link exchange tool.
You will be taken directly to the Link Building Exchange where you can browse opportunities, connect with publishers, and manage your link exchange activity.
💡 Tips for a Smooth Experience
- Bookmark the Link Laboratory URL after your first visit so you can return to it quickly in the future.
- Make sure you are logged in to your Search Atlas account before following the steps above, as the App Ecosystem menu is only visible to authenticated users.
- If you click the link and are redirected to an external site, this is expected — the Link Laboratory opens outside the main platform. Allow the page a moment to load and confirm you are signed in.

Why is the Link Exchange not in the left sidebar anymore?
The Link Building Exchange is a specialised external tool connected to Search Atlas via the App Ecosystem. It lives under your account menu rather than the main navigation sidebar to keep it grouped with other integrated applications.

Check that your browser is not blocking pop-ups or new tabs from Search Atlas. The Link Laboratory may open in a new browser tab. If you still see no response, try refreshing the App Ecosystem page and clicking again.
