⏸️ Is There an On/Off Switch per Project?
No. Content Genius doesn't have a setting to turn it off for a single project, and it doesn't need one: it only creates content when you generate an article yourself. It doesn't run on a schedule or in the background.
🔌 Stop Articles From Uploading to WordPress Automatically
If articles are appearing in WordPress without you publishing them, check the WordPress auto-upload setting. It's set in your Brand Vault, in the content settings for WordPress, not in the Content Genius project.
- Open the Brand Vault connected to your site.
- Open its content settings and find the WordPress section.
- Turn off automatic upload to WordPress, then save.
After that, finished articles stay in Content Genius until you publish them.
⚙️ What the Project Settings Control
Content Genius project settings control how articles are written, such as tone of voice, language and point of view. They don't pause or disable Content Genius.
