What Are Twitter Cards in OTTO?
The Twitter Cards section in OTTO lets you control how your pages appear when shared on Twitter (now X). When someone posts a link to your site on Twitter, Twitter reads special meta tags from your page to decide what title, description, and image to display in the preview card.
OTTO surfaces these fields so you can set or update them directly from one place without having to edit your site's code or theme files manually.
To locate this section, navigate to the OTTO area of your Search Atlas account and look for the Twitter Cards fields within your site's settings.
Why Are There No AI Suggestions Here?
Unlike other OTTO sections — such as meta titles, meta descriptions, or heading tags — the Twitter Cards section does not generate AI-powered suggestions. This is intentional, not a bug or missing feature.
Twitter Card tags are used for social sharing previews, and OTTO's AI automation does not extend to these fields. You are expected to fill them in manually based on your own brand and content preferences.
How to Fill In Twitter Cards Manually
Because there are no AI suggestions for this section, you will need to enter your Twitter Card values by hand. Open your site's settings within OTTO and locate the Twitter Cards area, then fill in the available fields using your own content.
If you are unsure which values to use, a good starting point is to reuse or lightly adapt the meta title, meta description, and featured image you have already set for the page, since Twitter Card fields are designed to mirror that kind of content.
