⚠️ Deleted Layouts Cannot Be Recovered
If you accidentally deleted a layout or template in Report Builder, unfortunately it cannot be restored. Deletion is permanent — Search Atlas does not retain a backup of removed layouts, and there is no undo option available at this time.
🔄 How to Rebuild Your Layout
- Go to Report Builder from your Search Atlas dashboard.
- Click Create New Report.
- Add the same widgets, metrics, and data sources you had in the original layout.
- Arrange and resize widgets to match your previous configuration.
- Give the layout a clear, recognizable name before saving.
💡 Tips to Avoid Accidental Deletion
- Double-check the name before deleting — Report Builder does not always prompt for confirmation.
- Name layouts with the owner or purpose (e.g. "Ryan — Weekly SEO Overview") for easier identification.
- Periodically screenshot important layout configurations as a backup reference.
