Content Genius has shipped several updates, including a new per-location GBP social profiles feature in Brand Vault, enhanced crawler audit feedback, and multiple bug fixes that improve reliability and error messaging across the platform.

✨ What's New

Brand Vault — Per-Location Social Profiles (GBP): Brand Vault now supports per-location social profiles for GBP-connected locations. You can assign unique social profile links to each individual location, giving you granular control over how each location is represented across platforms.

Improved Crawler Audit Feedback: When a site audit crawl fails, Content Genius now surfaces the specific crawler-block reason directly on the failed audit card. The recrawl button also displays a loading state while a recrawl is in progress, so you always have clear confirmation that the action is being processed.

🛠️ How to Use It

To set per-location social profiles in Brand Vault:

  1. From the Header, click the apps-grid icon and go to More Features → Brand Vault.
  2. Select a location that is connected to a GBP account.
  3. Add or update the social profile links for that specific location.
  4. Save your changes — the profiles will be applied at the individual location level.

To review crawler-block reasons on failed audits:

  1. Navigate to OTTO SEO → Site Audit → Overview (Website Overview).
  2. Open any failed audit — the crawler-block reason is now displayed directly on the audit result.
  3. Click the Recrawl Site button to retry; a loading indicator confirms the action is underway.

📋 What to Expect

This release also resolves several bugs that affected day-to-day workflows:

  • Content Planner: Grid and table UX issues have been fixed, resulting in a smoother and more reliable planning experience.
  • Knowledge Graph: Save errors now display specific, descriptive messages instead of a generic error toast, making it easier to understand and act on issues.
  • CMS Connector: Error messages are now properly surfaced when connection issues occur, simplifying troubleshooting for CMS integrations.
  • Publishing: If an article is still being generated when you attempt to publish — whether from the backend or from Website Studio — you will now see a clear, informative status message instead of a silent failure.
