The Keywords and Site Explorer tools received a set of targeted fixes and improvements in this release, making filters more reliable, keyword data more accurate, and key features available to every user.
✨ What's New
This release ships two meaningful improvements to the Keywords tools:
- Keyword location data now sourced from keyword-metrics: Keyword detail pages read location information directly from the keyword-metrics source, ensuring the data shown is accurate and consistent. Additionally, the keyword list cap has been raised from its previous limit to 200 keywords, giving you more coverage in a single view.
- Watchlisted Keywords open to all users: The Watchlisted Keywords feature is no longer restricted to internal or legacy accounts — it is now fully available to all Search Atlas users, so you can track and monitor your most important keywords without any account-level limitations.
🛠️ How to Use It
- Navigate to Keywords from the left sidebar.
- Use Keyword Magic and apply range filters (e.g. volume, difficulty) — boundary values are now correctly included in results.
- Open Keyword Gap and select a project — column headers will now correctly reflect your current project from the moment data loads.
- Go to Keywords → Rank Tracker (Keyword Rank Tracker) and open the Watchlist tab — columns are now properly aligned, visibility settings are respected, and filter state is preserved as expected.
- To use Watchlisted Keywords, select any keyword and add it to your watchlist — this feature is now available on all accounts.
📋 What to Expect
- Range filters in Keyword Magic previously excluded the exact boundary values you entered (e.g. entering a minimum of 100 would omit results with exactly 100). This is now fixed — boundary values are included.
- Keyword Gap column headers were showing the previous project's name on initial load due to a stale state issue. Headers now reflect the correct, current project immediately.
- KRT Watchlist column had alignment inconsistencies, visibility setting issues, and filter state not persisting correctly — all three have been resolved in this update.
- The keyword list cap increase to 200 applies within the keyword detail view and does not affect other list limits across the platform.
