Search Atlas sends automated email alerts when your site's LLM visibility changes — including when new AI citations are detected or citation movement occurs. Customers often want to share these notifications with clients as a polished, downloadable document. This article explains what's currently possible and the best workaround to use right now.
🔍 What Are LLM Visibility Alerts?
LLM visibility alerts are automated email notifications triggered by changes in how AI models (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity) cite your website. These alerts are delivered directly to your inbox and are designed to keep you informed of AI visibility performance changes.
⚠️ Current Export Limitation
At this time, Search Atlas does not offer a one-click option to download LLM visibility alert emails as a PDF or document directly from the platform. This is a feature request that has been noted by our team.
🛠️ Recommended Workaround: Save Your Email as a PDF
Until a native export option is available, the fastest way to create a shareable document from an LLM visibility alert email is to save it as a PDF from your email client. Follow these steps:
- Open the LLM visibility alert email in your inbox (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, or similar).
- Click Print — this is usually found in the email's options or three-dot menu.
- In the print dialog, change the Destination or Printer to Save as PDF.
- Click Save and choose a location on your computer.
- Send the saved PDF file directly to your client.
This produces a clean, professional-looking document that preserves all the alert details included in the email notification.
