🔍 Overview
Some heatmap auto-refreshes have completed only partially. Affected heatmaps display a single data point instead of the expected full grid. This article explains what happened and how Search Atlas is handling credit refunds for affected snapshots.
⚙️ What Caused the Incomplete Grids
A bug caused some heatmap auto-refresh snapshots to fail mid-process. Instead of returning a full grid, the system recorded only a single point and marked the refresh as complete.
📊 How to Identify Affected Heatmaps
To check whether any of your heatmaps were affected, navigate to your Local SEO Heatmaps and review the snapshot history for any recent auto-refreshes. An affected snapshot will show a single pin or point on the map rather than a full grid of ranked positions. Note the heatmap name, keyword, and the date of the affected refresh — you will need this information when contacting support.
💳 Credit Refunds for Failed Refreshes
Search Atlas is committed to ensuring you are not charged credits for heatmap snapshots that did not deliver complete data. Here is what you need to know:
- Scope: Any auto-refresh snapshot that returned a single point instead of a full grid is considered a failed refresh and is eligible for a credit refund.
- If you do not see a credit adjustment in your account, please contact support so the team can review your account directly. Have your heatmap name, affected keyword, and the date of the failed refresh ready.
