🔍 What Is This Issue?

When you manually move a heatmap pin to a specific location for a keyword search — such as baci and buca — and then trigger a data refresh, the pin may snap back to an incorrect, unrelated location. This means the refresh runs against the wrong coordinates, consuming your quota without producing useful results.

This behavior is a known issue and our team is actively working on a fix. In the meantime, please reach out to our support team so we can assist you directly with your affected heatmap and discuss quota recovery options if needed.

⚠️ Why Does This Happen?

The heatmap tool may not retain a manually repositioned pin when a data refresh is triggered, causing the scan to run against the wrong coordinates. This can result in quota consumption without useful results.

✅ What To Do If You Experience This Issue

If your heatmap pin is resetting after a refresh, please contact our support team. We can help you:

  • Confirm whether your account is affected by this known pin-reset behavior.
  • Review quota consumption related to incorrectly positioned scans.
  • Discuss options for quota recovery where applicable.
  • Advise on any available workarounds while the fix is in progress.

🛡️ How to Avoid Unnecessary Quota Consumption

Until the underlying issue is resolved, follow these precautions:

  • Verify the pin position visually on the map immediately before triggering a refresh. Confirm the pin is on the intended location, not a default or unrelated spot.
  • Do not proceed if you notice the pin has reset before the scan completes — contact support before re-running to discuss quota recovery options.
  • Avoid triggering automatic refreshes if your account has scheduled scans enabled for affected keywords. Temporarily disable scheduling for those keywords until the fix is released.
  • Run one test scan on a low-priority keyword first to confirm the pin is holding its position before running scans on keywords that matter most.
