The GSC Sites List (/gsc/sites-list) lets you activate projects, assign tracking locations, and confirm GA4 connections — all from one screen in Search Atlas. Available actions include Manage Sites, Connect GSC Account, Connect GA Account, and Show Inactive.
🧭 Navigation Path
Search Atlas → Left Sidebar → Site Metrics → GSC Performance → All Sites → GSC Sites List
⚙️ Manage GSC Sites
Open the GSC Sites List from the left sidebar:
- Go to Site Metrics in the left sidebar.
- Click GSC Performance.
- Select All Sites.
- On the GSC Sites List screen, click Manage Sites.
The Manage Sites panel opens.
📍 Choose Projects & Locations
- Under Choose the projects you want to manage, select the site you want to activate.
- Under Location, select the country you want to track (example: United Kingdom).
- Toggle Status to Active.
- Click Confirm and continue.
Note: Activation and deactivation quota points are deducted only after confirmation.
📊 Verify GSC Status
- Return to GSC Sites List.
Each active site now shows the following metrics (data reflects the last 28 days by default):
- Total Traffic
- Avg. Position
- Impressions
- Organic Traffic
- Active Locations
A confirmation message appears: "GSC sites updated successfully, now refreshing data please wait…"
🔄 Bulk Refresh GSC Sites (Coming Soon)
Status: This capability is currently rolling out. If you don't yet see the option in your account, check back shortly.
The updated GSC connection flow includes a bulk refresh capability that triggers and monitors a refresh across all GSC-authorized accounts simultaneously — without updating each site individually.
Trigger a Bulk Refresh
- Open the GSC Sites List screen.
- Click Refresh All Sites in the top-right corner.
- Confirm the action when prompted. The refresh starts immediately across every connected GSC account.
Monitor Refresh Progress
The bulk refresh runs asynchronously — you can keep working while it completes.
- A live progress indicator appears next to the Refresh All Sites button, showing current refresh status for each connected account.
- Each site row updates as its data finishes syncing.
- When complete, a success message appears: "All GSC sites refreshed successfully." If any account fails, a failure notice identifies which sites need attention.
📈 Connect Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- On GSC Sites List, click Connect GA Account.
- In Google Analytics 4 Settings, confirm the message: "GA4 is connected".
- Select the correct Property from the dropdown.
- Click Update Settings.
Note: If the project details page previously showed GA4 as not connected after a successful update, this issue has been resolved. Re-open the GSC connections panel to confirm your GA4 property now appears as connected.
⏱️ Data Availability
After confirming GSC and GA4 settings:
- Data may take 20–30 minutes to fully load.
- Metrics may temporarily appear empty while syncing.

Why is my GA4 connected but not showing in a project?
GA4 must be confirmed at the project level inside GSC Sites List, even if it is already connected at the account level.
Do I need to repeat this for every project?
Yes. Each project must be activated and configured individually.
Can I manage multiple sites at once?
Yes. You can activate multiple sites and assign locations before clicking Confirm and continue.
