Overview
When creating a post or managing content in GBP Galactic, you select the target profile from a dropdown menu. If a profile does not appear in the dropdown, it does not necessarily mean the profile is missing — it may not be visible due to how the dropdown loads connected profiles.
How to Navigate to GBP Galactic Posts
- In the left sidebar, click Local.
- Under the Local section, click Posts.
- Click the button to create a new post. The profile selection dropdown will appear.
What to Do When a Profile Is Not Visible in the Dropdown
If you open the profile selection dropdown and cannot find the profile you need, try the following steps before assuming the profile is missing:
- Open the profile selection dropdown inside the Posts creation screen (Local → Posts).
- Scroll through the full visible list of profiles in the dropdown to make sure the profile is not present but out of view.
- If the profile still does not appear, verify that the Google Business Profile account for that location is connected to your Search Atlas workspace.
- Ensure you are logged in to the correct Search Atlas workspace that owns the profile.
- If the profile is confirmed connected but still does not appear in the dropdown, contact our support team with the profile name and your workspace details so the team can investigate and resolve the visibility issue on your account.
If the Profile Still Does Not Appear
If you have completed the steps above and the profile remains missing from the dropdown, this may require a backend check on your account. When reaching out, please have the following ready:
- The exact name of the profile that is not visible (for example, Villa Leonidas)
- The name of your Search Atlas workspace
- The Google Business Profile account the location is connected to
- Any screenshot showing the dropdown without the expected profile
