🔍 Why the invitation error appears
If you see “Registration on this domain is by invitation only. Please contact your account administrator to receive an invitation.”, the widget is working as intended. The domain is configured to allow registrations only from invited users.
This usually means the test visitor is not signed in with an approved invitation, or the domain has not been configured for open registration.
⚙️ Open the widget settings
- Sign in to your Search Atlas account.
- Open More Features → Agency Whitelabel.
- Select Site Analysis Lead Capture Widget.
- Review the widget setup, registration, and domain settings.
🧪 Test the widget
- Open the published page containing the widget in a private or incognito browser window.
- Enter test details that are not already registered, unless you are testing an existing user flow.
- Submit the form and confirm that the expected registration or lead capture message appears.
- Check that the captured lead appears in the appropriate area of your platform.
👤 Test an invitation-only setup
For domains restricted to invited users, ask the account administrator to send an invitation to the email address used for testing. Open the invitation and complete registration before submitting the widget again.
If you manage the account, review the registration settings under More Features → Agency Whitelabel → Settings. Use the option that matches your intended access policy, then save the change and repeat the test.
🛠️ Troubleshoot failed tests
- Confirm that the widget is installed on the correct white-labeled domain.
- Check that the domain and page use the latest saved widget configuration.
- Test in a private window to avoid cached sessions or previously stored cookies.
- Verify that the test email has received and accepted an invitation when registration is restricted.
- Make sure required form fields are completed and the submission is not blocked by a browser extension.
