What This Article Covers
If you have cancelled your Search Atlas subscription, this guide explains how to confirm your cancellation status and what to prepare if you need to escalate a billing concern.
Step 1: Check Your Subscription Status
To confirm your cancellation, log in to your Search Atlas account and navigate to your account or billing settings. Look for a section that displays your current plan and its status.
A confirmed cancellation will generally be reflected by a status indicating your plan will not renew. If your account still shows an active plan or an upcoming renewal, your cancellation may not have been fully processed.
Step 2: Check for Any Upcoming Charges
While reviewing your billing settings, check whether any future charges or renewal dates are listed for your account:
- If no upcoming charge is shown and your plan status reflects a cancellation, no future billing is expected.
- If a future charge or renewal is still displayed after you cancelled, note the exact amount and date — this may require investigation.
Step 3: What to Prepare Before Escalating
If your cancellation status is unclear or you believe a future charge is incorrect, have the following ready before contacting support so the issue can be resolved as quickly as possible:
- Your account email address — the one associated with your Search Atlas subscription.
- The date you requested cancellation — including any confirmation email or reference number you received.
- A screenshot of your current subscription status as shown in your billing settings.
- Any upcoming charge details — the amount and date displayed in your account, if applicable.
