🔑 What Is Changing With CMS Connectors
Search Atlas is updating CMS connectors to a secure one-click Connect/Reconnect flow using the Connector Gateway. Instead of storing API keys or credentials, you sign in through your CMS provider in a new tab and status updates automatically.
📅 Grace Period and Reconnection
A 30-day grace period begins on the launch date. Existing connections continue working during this time. After the period ends the legacy method is discontinued and you must reconnect using the new flow to keep publishing. Scheduled content waiting in queue resumes automatically after reconnection.
✅ Supported CMS Platforms
The new one-click flow applies to HubSpot, Webflow, Wix, GoHighLevel, Contentful, and Salesforce. Shopify retains its shop ID, client ID, and secret entry per the in-app instructions. Drupal, Magento, and Joomla updates will follow on a case-by-case basis.
🔧 How to Connect a New CMS
Go to the CMS connectors section in your account. Click Connect next to your chosen platform. Complete the sign-in in the new tab that opens. Return to Search Atlas to confirm the connection status shows as active.
🔄 How to Reconnect an Existing CMS
If your connection requires updating, locate the connector in your account settings. Click Reconnect and follow the provider sign-in steps in the new tab. Status updates automatically once complete.
🛒 Shopify Connector Notes
Shopify continues using shop ID, client ID, and secret entry. Follow the exact instructions shown in the app during setup. The new gateway flow does not replace this credential step for Shopify.
🚀 Publishing Content to Your CMS
After connecting, select your CMS as the publish target when creating or editing content. Use the publish button or schedule the post. Status changes to Published once the article goes live on the CMS.
🛠️ Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Stuck on Connecting: Refresh the page and verify the provider sign-in completed successfully.
- Deadline passed: Reconnect immediately using the new flow to restore publishing.
- Scheduled content not publishing: Reconnect the connector to resume the queue automatically.
