🔗 How WILDFIRE exchanges work
WILDFIRE helps sites exchange relevant backlinks. Submitting outlinks does not guarantee an immediate or automatic one-to-one return.
For example, submitting 10 eligible outlinks may make you eligible to receive up to 5 backlinks, depending on the exchange rules, available matches, and successful verification. The number is not guaranteed until the submitted links are reviewed and matched.
⏳ Why backlinks may not appear yet
- Your outlinks are still being reviewed or verified.
- The pages do not meet current eligibility or quality requirements.
- A suitable website match is not currently available.
- The submitted links are not live, crawlable, or placed on the required pages.
- The backlink exchange is still processing and has not updated in your project.
✅ What to check
- Confirm that each submitted outlink is live and accessible without a login.
- Check that the link appears on the intended page and points to the correct destination URL.
- Review the WILDFIRE submission status for rejected, pending, or completed items.
- Make sure your target page can be crawled and is not blocked by access rules.
- Allow time for verification and matching before expecting backlinks to appear.
📊 Understanding the backlink count
The expected return is based on eligible, verified submissions—not simply the number of URLs entered. If you submit 10 outlinks and the exchange ratio is 5 backlinks, you may receive up to 5 approved backlinks after processing. Some submissions may be excluded, delayed, or unable to find a match.
🛠️ When to request help
If your submissions remain pending after the normal processing period shown in WILDFIRE, or if completed exchanges do not appear correctly, note the affected URLs and their statuses before contacting support.
