π What βIn Progressβ means
A Link Laboratory submission marked In Progress is moving through the publisher and editorial workflow. The publisher may still be reviewing, approving, scheduling, or placing the submission.
β±οΈ How long processing takes
There is no fixed or guaranteed timeframe for Link Laboratory submissions. Processing time varies by publisher, editorial review, availability, and the steps required before a placement is completed.
Because each publisher follows its own process, a submission can remain in progress longer than expected without indicating a platform issue.
β οΈ Reasons a submission may be delayed
- The publication or editor has not completed its review.
- The publication is temporarily inactive or unavailable.
- The submission was rejected and requires follow-up or an alternative next step.
- Additional scheduling or editorial changes are needed before placement.
π How to check your submission
- Open Authority from the left sidebar.
- Select the relevant Link Laboratory area under the Authority section.
- Review the submission status and available order details.
If the submission has remained in progress longer than expected, have the order details ready so its status can be reviewed. An order-specific update may be needed when a placement has stalled, a publication is inactive, or a submission was rejected.
