Site Audit has a completely redesigned experience, and we've fixed and polished many other areas of the platform. This article covers what's new and what you may notice in your day-to-day work.

✨ What's New

Redesigned Site Audit (V2)

The new Site Audit gives you a refreshed look and a more organized way to review your site's health. It includes these pages:

  • Overview: a high-level summary of your site's audit results.
  • All Audits: a list of every audit you've run.
  • Issues: the problems found on your site, so you can review and prioritize them.
  • Page Explorer and Page Detail: browse the pages on your site and open any page for a closer look.
  • Content Velocity: see how your site's content changes over time.
  • Page Pruning: spot pages that may be worth consolidating or removing.
  • Site Lens: a deeper view of your site's content and topics. In LDA Topics, Bubbles is now the default view.
  • Live Monitoring Alerts: stay informed about changes detected on your site.
  • Crawl Logs: review what happened during each crawl.

All pages share the same navigation, theme, and a live-crawl panel. You can also switch between versions of Site Audit.

OTTO PPC updates

  • Campaigns that Google Ads flags as Limited by Budget now show that status in OTTO PPC.
  • The Campaign Performance chart now opens on Conversions and Cost / Conv by default.

Other improvements

  • Google Business Profile heatmaps: the heatmap list now shows Avg. Ranking across grids instead of the Reviews column. The Projects map view automatically zooms to show all your locations at once.
  • AI Visibility: the Settings window now warns you before closing if you have unsaved changes. Sample numbers on the Overview are no longer timestamped as if they were live data.
  • Digital PR: the "Type of Content" dropdown now uses clearer wording instead of the unexplained term "Trophy Content."
  • Reports: the options for creating a presentation are now in one place, and the Share & Export action works as expected.
  • Google Search Console: the loading spinner in the sites drawer is now easy to see.

πŸ› οΈ How to Use It

  1. Open Site Audit for your project.
  2. Start on the Overview page to see a summary of your site's health.
  3. Open Issues to review problems, or Page Explorer to look at individual pages.
  4. Use Site Lens, Content Velocity, and Page Pruning for deeper content insights.
  5. Check Live Monitoring Alerts and Crawl Logs to follow ongoing changes and crawl activity.
  6. If you prefer the previous layout, use the version switch in the navigation to move between versions.

πŸ“‹ What to Expect

We also fixed a range of issues you may have run into. Here they are by area:

  • Competitor Research: the view page now loads correctly with its data, and shared links no longer send visitors who aren't logged in to the registration page.
  • AI Visibility: the Topics & Queries and Sentiment tables no longer show "No data available" when your project has results. The Topics filter also shows the correct topic count.
  • Site Audit and content: on-page audits now respect your configured target location instead of defaulting to Worldwide.
  • Projects: the domain field no longer loses focus after a duplicate-project error.
  • OTTO PPC: some accounts saw repeated errors when loading ads platform preferences. This is resolved. Approving a low-Quality-Score suggestion now pauses the keyword as intended instead of negating your own converting keyword.
  • OTTO SEO: typing in the URL search on issue cards is no longer interrupted while results load. Deploying a single row on a filtered issues table now keeps the row's state and shows immediate feedback.
  • Reports: "Back to Reports List" now loads your list correctly, and connected data sources are matched correctly.
  • Keyword tools: Keyword Researcher panels load correctly again. Keyword Gap and keyword-list tools handle missing records and check your filters. In Keyword Magic Tool, the Show Intent setting no longer reverts on its own, and the loading indicator is aligned.
  • Google Business Profile: industry search in the Ranking Factor Matrix now works with common terms like plumber, lawyer, and dentist. The external photo upload window now shows errors instead of failing silently, and only owners can generate a link. Address-only locations can no longer be added as heatmaps.
  • Digital PR: the campaign template picker no longer appears behind the page, so you can select a template.
  • Needs You tab: Approve and Deny buttons line up consistently across items. Opening the tab from a link now loads as quickly as the other tabs.
  • Domain Power: the score no longer briefly shows an incorrect Brand Signal value before settling.
  • Sign-up: after verifying your email and logging in, you now land on the plan selection page instead of going back to email verification.

We also made several behind-the-scenes refinements to AI Agent Playbooks, Content Genius, and the Site Audit experience. You may notice they feel smoother to use.
