π Overview
Website Studio lets you build and manage the pages of your website in one place. Once a page exists, you can go back to it at any time to update text, images, headings, or layout. This article shows you where to find your existing pages and how to edit them.
β Before You Begin
- Make sure you are signed in to your Search Atlas account.
- Confirm that the website or project you want to work on has already been created in Website Studio.
- Have your changes ready, such as new copy, images, or links, so you can work faster.
π Where to Find Your Existing Pages
Your existing pages are listed inside the website or project they belong to. Follow these steps to reach them:
- Open Website Studio from the main navigation menu in the platform.
- Select the website or project that contains the page you want to change.
- Look for the Pages list for that website. It shows every page you have created.
- Use the search box or scroll through the list to find the page you need.
Menu labels may vary slightly depending on your plan or the latest platform updates, but the pages for each website are always grouped together under that website.
βοΈ How to Edit a Page
- In the Pages list, find the page you want to change.
- Click the page name, or look for an Edit option next to it, to open the page in the editor.
- Click the section, text block, image, or element you want to change.
- Make your changes directly in the editor. You can update wording, replace images, adjust headings, and rearrange sections.
- Review the page to confirm everything looks the way you want.
πΎ Save and Publish Your Changes
Editing a page does not always update your live website right away. After you finish:
- Click Save to keep your edits.
- Preview the page, if a preview option is available, to check how it looks.
- Click Publish or Update to push your changes to your live website.
If you leave the editor without saving, your latest changes may be lost. Save often, especially after large edits.
π‘ Tips for Better Page Edits
- Edit one section at a time. This makes it easier to spot mistakes.
- Keep your target keyword in mind. When you rewrite headings or copy, make sure the main topic of the page stays clear.
- Check links and buttons. After editing, make sure each one still points to the right place.
- Preview before publishing. A quick look can catch spacing and formatting problems.
π§° Troubleshooting
- I can't find my page. Make sure you selected the correct website or project. Pages only appear under the website they were created in. Try the search box if your list is long.
- There is no Edit option. Try clicking the page name directly. If the page still will not open, refresh your browser and try again.
- My changes are not showing on my live site. Make sure you clicked Save and then Publish or Update. Allow a few minutes, then clear your browser cache or refresh the page.
- The editor is slow or not loading. Refresh the page, close extra browser tabs, or try a different browser.
