π Overview
Sometimes you need a form opened, such as a form to submit business details, share feedback, or complete a setup step. A short request like "please open my form" can be hard to act on because we don't know which form you mean or where you saw it. This article shows you how to find and open forms yourself, and how to word a request so you get help the first time.
π Why a Short Request Can Be Unclear
Search Atlas includes many tools and pages, and more than one of them can involve a form. When a request doesn't say which form or where it appeared, we have to ask follow-up questions before we can help. That back-and-forth takes extra time. Including a few details up front gets you an answer faster.
π§ How to Find and Open a Form Yourself
Try these steps first. Most forms can be opened without any help.
- Go back to the page or tool where you first saw the form, such as the project setup screen or the tool you were using.
- Look for a button or link with a name like Submit, Add, Edit, Get Started, or Complete Setup.
- Check your notifications and any banners at the top of the page. Forms you still need to complete are often flagged there.
- Check the confirmation message or instructions you received when you were asked to fill in the form. They usually point to the right page.
- Click the button once and wait a few seconds. Some forms take a moment to load.
π οΈ If the Form Won't Open
If you click the button and nothing happens, these quick fixes usually solve it.
- Refresh the page and try again.
- Check your pop-up blocker. Some forms open in a new window, and a blocker can stop them. Allow pop-ups for Search Atlas and try again.
- Try another browser. Switching to a different up-to-date browser can rule out browser issues.
- Turn off browser extensions such as ad blockers or privacy tools for a moment.
- Clear your browser cache and log in again.
- Check your internet connection. A weak connection can stop a form from loading fully.
π¬ How to Word Your Request
If you still need help, include as many of these details as you can in your message:
- The name of the form, or what it is for (for example, "the business details form" or "the feedback form").
- Where you saw it: the tool, page, or message that mentioned it.
- What you want to do: open it, edit it, resubmit it, or find one you already sent.
- What happened: for example, the button did nothing, or an error message appeared.
- Your project or domain name, if it applies.
- A screenshot of the page or error, if you can.
Here is an example of a clear request: "I'm in my project settings and can't open the business details form. The button doesn't respond when I click it. I've tried refreshing and using another browser."
β οΈ Common Mix-Ups to Avoid
- Typos such as "foam" instead of "form" are easy to understand, but they leave out the details we need. Add the form's name or purpose.
- Saying "my form" without a location makes it hard to tell which of your forms you mean.
- Some forms contain your own business information. You may need to fill these in yourself, but we can point you to the right place.
β Quick Answers

- Submitted a form by mistake? Tell us what you submitted and what needs to change.
- Can't find a form you already sent? Share roughly when you sent it and which tool you were using.
