Local heat maps now give you clearer information about your quota and warn you before you run a scan that would go over your plan's limit. This helps you avoid unexpected refresh failures and understand exactly where your balance stands.

✨ What's New

Previously, a heat map could fail to refresh because of a quota balance issue, even when it seemed like you still had quota available. This could be confusing, since it was not clear why the refresh did not go through.

With this improvement, the platform now:

  • Explains quota oversubscription: If a heat map scan would require more quota than your plan has available, you will see a clear explanation of why.
  • Warns you before you exceed your plan: You are alerted before starting a scan that would go beyond your plan's allowance, so you can decide how to proceed.

πŸ› οΈ How to Use It

  1. Open your local heat map in the platform.
  2. Set up or refresh your heat map scan as you normally would.
  3. If the scan would exceed your available quota, review the warning that appears and the explanation of your current balance.
  4. Choose how to proceed, for example by adjusting the scan so it fits within your remaining quota.

πŸ“‹ What to Expect

  • You will see a warning only when a scan would exceed your plan's quota. Scans within your allowance run as usual.
  • Quota messages now describe why a refresh cannot be completed, rather than failing without context.
  • Your plan's quota limits themselves have not changed. Only the clarity and timing of the messaging has improved.
