📘 What are HD credits?
HD credits are usage units included with eligible Search Atlas plans. They may be used by features that process or generate higher-detail data. The number of credits available depends on your current subscription and the plan configuration applied to your account.
🔎 Why may the FAQ show different information?
Plan allowances can change as products and subscriptions are updated. Help articles, saved links, or third-party references may not always reflect the latest plan configuration. For this reason, a number shown in an older FAQ should not be treated as confirmation of your account’s current HD credit allowance.
✅ How to verify your allowance
- Sign in to Search Atlas.
- Open your account or billing area and review the plan and usage information shown for your workspace.
- Check the current HD credit allowance and any credits already used.
- Compare the displayed allowance with the plan assigned to the specific workspace you are using.
The in-platform plan and usage information is the best reference for your account. Do not assume that an allowance listed for one plan applies to another plan or workspace.
🧭 Check the workspace and feature
Credit usage may differ by workspace, subscription, feature, or billing period. Before reporting a mismatch, confirm that you are viewing the correct workspace and that the feature you are using requires HD credits. For example, Site Metrics is available from Left sidebar → Site Metrics, while content tools are available from Left sidebar → Content → Content Genius.
🛠️ What to do if the numbers do not match
- Refresh the page and check the usage information again.
- Confirm the active workspace and subscription.
- Note the plan name, displayed allowance, credits used, and the page where each value appears.
- Use the in-platform value when making usage decisions until the discrepancy is reviewed.
If the FAQ and your account show different HD credit amounts, the account display should be treated as the current source for your workspace. Documentation corrections may be made when an outdated value is identified.
