📍 Understanding address changes
Search Atlas does not change your Google Business Profile address without an action, setting, or connected workflow that permits the update. Address changes may also come directly from Google, another user with profile access, or a connected service.
If an address changed unexpectedly, first confirm the change in your Google Business Profile and review who has access to the profile. Check whether a location, business detail, or scheduled task was recently updated in Search Atlas.
🔎 Review your Search Atlas activity
- Open Local from the left sidebar.
- Review Local → Overview for the affected business location.
- Check Local → My Tasks for recent or scheduled work related to business information.
- Compare the current address with your approved business details and Google Business Profile settings.
Search Atlas navigation and available actions can vary by account, subscription, and connected integrations. If you cannot identify the source of the change, avoid making repeated edits until the update is reviewed.
🛑 Prevent unwanted updates
- Confirm that only trusted users and services have access to your Google Business Profile.
- Review connected integrations and any tasks that can update business information.
- Keep one approved address document or record for comparison.
- Document the original address, changed address, date, and any related task or activity.
💳 Requesting a refund
Refund eligibility depends on the product, subscription, service activity, and account terms. A refund is not automatic when a profile address changes. To request a review, provide the affected business location, the date of the change, the service or subscription involved, and why you believe a refund is appropriate.
Include screenshots or activity details when available. Our team can investigate the change, confirm whether Search Atlas was involved, and explain the available resolution. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
