๐Ÿ“˜ GSC Property Verified but Not Showing in Search Atlas

How to make your verified Google Search Console property appear in Search Atlas.

Updated over a week ago

If your website is:

  • โœ… Verified in Google Search Console

  • โœ… Connected to your Google account in Search Atlas

  • โŒ But not visible inside the platform

This usually means the property hasnโ€™t been fully activated inside GSC Performance settings.

This is not a verification issue. Itโ€™s typically a location activation step that hasnโ€™t been completed yet.

๐Ÿ‘ฃ Step-by-Step Fix

Step 1 โ€” Open GSC Performance

Go to:

Left Sidebar โ†’ Site Metrics โ†’ GSC Performance

Step 2 โ€” Click โ€œAll Sitesโ€ in the GSC Performance section

Then scroll to the lower section of the secondary sidebar called GSC Performance. At the top of the GSC Performance section, click:

All Sites

Step 3 โ€” Click โ€œManage Sitesโ€

Inside the All Sites view, click:

Manage Sites

This opens the property management panel.

Step 4 โ€” Select Location (Country)

Find your domain and:

  • Use the Location dropdown

  • Select your target country (example: United States)

  • Toggle the site to Active if needed

Without selecting a location, the property may not appear in dashboards.

Step 5 โ€” Refresh Your Dashboard

After saving:

  • Refresh the dashboard

  • The property should now appear correctly

๐Ÿ”ด Why This Happens

Even after:

  • Verifying ownership in Google Search Console

  • Connecting your Google account in Search Atlas

The property will not display in performance views until:

  • A location is selected

  • The site is activated in the GSC management panel

This is expected behavior.

โ“ FAQs

Why canโ€™t I see my verified property?

Because it hasnโ€™t been activated under GSC Performance > Manage.

Is this a Google issue?

No. Itโ€™s a configuration step inside Search Atlas.

Do I need support to fix this?

No. Selecting the location and refreshing resolves the issue.

Even if your website is fully verified in Google Search Console and your Google account is connected in Search Atlas, the property wonโ€™t appear until itโ€™s activated inside the GSC Performance settings. After connecting Google, you still need to go to Site Metrics โ†’ GSC Performance โ†’ All Sites โ†’ Manage, select a Location (country) for the domain, and activate it if necessary. Once a location is selected and you refresh the dashboard, the property will appear normally. This is expected behavior and not a connection issue.
