This guide walks you through installing the OTTO Pixel from SearchAtlas on a Shopify website. Once set up, you’ll unlock real-time SEO diagnostics and automated optimization.

Log in to your SearchAtlas account.
On the left-hand menu, click OTTO & Audit.
At the top of the OTTO SEO section, switch to v3 using the toggle next to v2.

➕ Click “+ Create” in the top-right corner.
🌐 A box will appear asking for your website URL:
🧾 Paste your Shopify store URL.

On the install screen, switch to the Shopify platform tab.
Click “Copy Code” to copy your unique OTTO Pixel script.

Open your Shopify Admin Dashboard.
In the left-hand menu, go to Sales Channels > Online Store.
Click Themes.
Locate your active/live theme, then click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to it.
Select Edit Code.
In the file structure, find and open your
theme.liquidfile.Scroll to the
<head>section and paste the OTTO Pixel right before the closing</head>tag.Click Save in the top-right corner.
✅ This ensures the OTTO Pixel is embedded across your entire site.

Confirm your Shopify site is live.
Go back to SearchAtlas and find your website on the OTTO dashboard.
🔛 Click the Engage toggle (turns green).
⏳ Wait 15 seconds.
🧪 Click Run Diagnostic.
✅ If successful, you’ll see:
“OTTO Pixel was Installed Correctly”
Refresh the page — your site status will show a green Engaged indicator.
That’s it! The OTTO Pixel is now live on your Shopify store, powering automated insights and performance boosts for your SEO strategy. Make sure to revisit the diagnostics panel anytime to ensure your tracking is running smoothly.
