Creating a Global Project in Search Atlas allows you to unlock complete international SEO reporting. With just a few clicks, you’ll be able to monitor keyword rankings, competitor domains, and search visibility for your entire site across multiple regions.
Whether you're an agency managing multi-market clients or a brand targeting users in different countries, this guide will walk you through creating your first global project in less than a minute.
🚀 Step-by-Step: Creating Your Global Project
1. Log into your dashboard
2. Add a website
Click the field labeled:
“Enter a Domain, Page URL or Keyword…”
3. Paste your domain
Use Cmd + V
(Mac) or Ctrl + V
(Windows) to paste the domain you want to track.
4. Select Global Project (Create all reports)
From the dropdown list under your domain, choose:
Global Project (Create all reports)
This will generate all SEO reports at once.
5. Set your target region
Click the dropdown next to your domain and select your region.
To analyze international visibility, choose Worldwide.
6. Click Continue
This will trigger the keyword and competitor detection process.
7. Review your keywords
You’ll see a pre-filled list of the most relevant keywords. You can add or remove keywords freely.
8. Review suggested competitors
Search Atlas will auto-suggest competitors based on your domain.
You can:
Accept them
Remove any
Add competitors manually
9. Final check: click “Competitors”
(Optional) Please edit your competitor list before completing your setup.
10. Click Create Project
Once you're satisfied with your setup, you can click the purple button to create your Global Project.
