📌 Why sites show as deactivated
Publication Media can set a previously active website listing to inactive when a quality, ownership, pricing, or policy check no longer passes. This is a status on that listing, not a deletion of your Search Atlas account. Recorded causes are Domain Authority, organic traffic, spam, or page quality below the required level, a removed verification tag, a price above the DA-based cost cap, repeated failures to reach the URL, the publisher account being deactivated, no recent completed order or verified ownership, excessive rejections, or a manual deactivation.
A sudden change across several sites usually means those listings were rechecked together. Each domain is reviewed on its own, so one site can be restored without waiting for every other site.
📊 Why DA can differ from other tools
Domain Authority on Publication Media is the metric stored for that publisher listing. It is not a live copy of Moz, Ahrefs, or any other third-party score. Differences are expected when:
- The other tool uses a different index, formula, or update date.
- The authority value stored for the listing was last refreshed before the recent change. Publication Media keeps that stored value until the next publication health check, or until Activate runs the approval check again. It is not a live score from Moz, Ahrefs, or another tool.
- The listing uses a different host, such as www versus non-www, or HTTP versus HTTPS.
- The score is shown for the registered domain while another tool scores a single URL.
Use the Publication Media value for decisions inside Search Atlas. Do not treat a mismatch with an outside tool as proof that the listing is broken.
🚀 How to restore a website
Follow these steps for each deactivated site, including https://masterrealtysolutions.org/:
- Open Publication Media and locate the deactivated listing.
- Confirm the listing is the correct site. You do not need to remove a separate HTTP or www version: Publication Media treats those as the same domain, and adding that domain again is blocked while the listing still exists.
- Open the live site in a browser and confirm it loads, is not parked, and is not blocked from crawling.
- Use Edit Publication on the existing listing to correct its details. Do not add the site again while it is still listed; Publication Media blocks a second listing for the same domain. If the listing was removed, adding the site again restores that removed listing.
- Save the listing to keep your edits. Saving does not refresh its status or Domain Authority. To request a new check, verify ownership if needed and then use Activate. The listing becomes active only if the checks pass. Otherwise it stays inactive and the card shows why the attempt failed.
- If the site stays deactivated, do not create repeated duplicate listings.
There is no customer-side switch that forces every historical site back to active or overwrites DA with a number from another tool. Reactivation depends on the listing passing review again.
💡 What to include if status does not update
Send the support team the domain, the URL you want listed, the current Publication Media status, and a screenshot of the DA value you believe is incorrect. Mention whether the site was active before and the date you noticed the change.
If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and send your message. A member of our support team will reply in the chat.
