💰 Missing Articles and Reset Publisher Payouts

Last updated on Oct 29, 2026

📌 What this article covers

If articles you added recently no longer appear in your publisher account, and your payment total shows zero, the platform has likely removed those placements from the current payout cycle. This article explains common reasons, how pending payments are recalculated, and what to check before contacting support.

🔍 Why published articles can disappear

Adding a URL does not by itself lock in payment. Each placement stays eligible only while it still meets the publication rules. An article can be removed from your account when any of the following is true:

  • The live page no longer contains the agreed content, link, or placement.
  • The URL changed, redirects, returns an error, or is no longer publicly accessible.
  • The page was unpublished, noindexed, or blocked from normal visitor access.
  • The same URL was submitted more than once, or it belongs to another publisher account.
  • The placement failed a later quality or compliance review.
  • The article was added after the cutoff for the payout period you expected.

When a placement is removed, it is no longer counted as a completed publication for that cycle. That is why all four items can vanish together if they failed the same review or sync.

💳 Why the payment total resets to zero

Your payment status shows only eligible placements in the open payout period. It is not a permanent balance of every URL you have ever added. If every pending article is disqualified or moved out of the current cycle, the displayed total returns to zero. That reset does not delete a payment that has already been sent. It means there is currently nothing approved to pay in that cycle.

Payments follow the platform payout schedule. A URL added near the end of a month is not guaranteed for the next payout until it remains verified through review. Expect the total to update after verification, not at the moment you paste the URL.

🛠️ What to check in your account

  1. Open the publisher or placements area and confirm whether the articles are listed as removed, rejected, pending, or missing.
  2. Open each live URL in a private browser window and confirm the page still loads and still shows the required content and link.
  3. Compare the exact URL on the live page with the URL you submitted. Watch for trailing slashes, http versus https, and redirected addresses.
  4. Check dates. Only placements verified before the cycle cutoff are included in that payout.
  5. Review any status note or rejection reason next to the placement.
  6. Look at payout history separately from the current balance so you can tell a sent payment from a pending total.

✅ How to restore eligible placements

If the live article is still valid, add the correct public URL again and wait for verification. Do not submit duplicates while a review is in progress. If the page was edited or taken down, restore the required content first, then resubmit. Restored items are evaluated as new submissions for the next eligible cycle. They are not automatically paid for a period that already closed.

If the content was removed by the site owner or no longer meets the placement rules, it cannot be paid. Fix the page or provide a qualifying replacement URL.

🚫 What support cannot change from the balance alone

A zero balance is a result of the current eligible items, not a separate setting that can be switched back on. Support can investigate whether a review, sync, or duplicate submission caused the removal. Have the four URLs, the dates you added them, and any screenshots of the previous pending total ready. Do not rely on memory of a payment date if the articles had not yet passed review.

💬 When to contact the team

Contact support if the live pages still meet the placement rules, the URLs match what you submitted, and the articles remain missing after you recheck the account. If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and type human teammate to be instantly connected with a member of our team.
