When a website shows as active on your Search Atlas account, the domain is connected and approved for use inside the platform. Activation confirms the site is on your account. It does not by itself mean that paid orders are already assigned or that fulfillment has started.
🛒 Why the same domain can be live in marketplaces
A domain can be active on your account and also appear as live in marketplaces at the same time. Marketplace visibility means the site is published and eligible to be discovered by campaign demand. Being listed is separate from receiving a specific order.
- Active on your account means the domain is connected and available to you.
- Live in marketplaces means buyers or campaigns can see the site as an eligible placement option.
- Both statuses can be correct together. One does not cancel the other.
📦 How campaign orders are matched
Orders are matched when a campaign’s requirements fit your website. Matching looks at factors such as niche, audience, content guidelines, availability, and any approval rules on the campaign or site. A live listing makes matching possible. It does not guarantee the next order, a fixed volume, or an immediate assignment.
- Confirm the domain status is active and the marketplace listing is live.
- Review site details, categories, and any content or placement rules so they match the campaigns you want.
- Keep pricing, capacity, and availability current so the site can be selected.
- Watch your orders or campaigns area for a new matched order. Nothing is assigned until a match is created.
⏱️ When you can expect orders
There is no fixed start date after activation. Orders begin only after a campaign matches your site. Timing depends on current demand, how closely your site fits open campaigns, and whether the order passes any required review. Some sites receive a match soon after going live. Others wait until a suitable campaign is available.
- Activation and a live listing mean your site is eligible, not that orders are already on the way.
- You should expect orders only after a match appears in your account.
- If the listing is live and no orders arrive, demand or fit may simply not match yet. Recheck your site details rather than assuming the domain was activated by mistake.
