➕ Create a Press Release in Search Atlas

A redesigned, full-page creation flow with flexible editing and inline preview.

Updated yesterday

Search Atlas has introduced a redesigned press release creation experience that makes publishing faster, more flexible, and easier to manage, all within a single, full-page workflow.

This new flow replaces the previous modal-based experience and gives users greater control throughout the entire creation process.

🛠️ How to Start a New Press Release

From the Search Atlas left sidebar:

➡️ Authority → PR Distribution
➡️ Click Add Press Release

This opens the new multi-step press release creation experience in a full-page view.

✨ What’s New in the Press Release Creation Flow

✅ Full-Page Editor Experience

The press release creation flow now opens as a dedicated page instead of a modal. This allows users to:

  • Focus on content creation without interruptions

  • Move between steps without losing progress

  • Review all inputs more clearly

🔁 Flexible Step Navigation

Users can now move forward and backward between steps during the creation process, including:

  • Returning to earlier steps to make adjustments

  • Switching between content creation options

  • Reviewing inputs before publishing

This flexibility was not available in the previous flow.

👀 Inline Review & Preview

The new experience allows users to:

  • Edit press release content

  • Preview the final output

  • Make changes in real time

All from the same view, without navigating to separate pages.

📤 Completing the Creation Process

Once content is finalized, users proceed to the Distribution Channels step to select publishing options and complete submission.

ℹ️ Distribution channel selection, tiering, and performance metrics are covered in the Press Release Distribution Updates article.

Creating a press release in Search Atlas is now faster, clearer, and more flexible. The new creation flow replaces the previous modal-based experience with a full-page workspace that guides you through each step while keeping everything in one place.

This redesigned experience gives you more control over your content as you move from creation to review and distribution. You can navigate between steps, make adjustments without losing progress, and preview your press release in real time before publishing.

Whether you’re drafting a new announcement or refining an existing message, the new flow is designed to reduce friction and help you publish with confidence, without switching screens or restarting the process.
