If your OTTO Pixel isn't showing as detected after installing the WordPress plugin, the cache is often the culprit. WordPress caching layers can delay detection or prevent recent changes from appearing. This article walks you through how to clear all caches in WordPress to ensure the Search Atlas plugin is recognized immediately.
Steps
Go to the Search Atlas plugin settings in your WordPress dashboard.
Confirm that your API keys and UUID are correctly filled in.
Click Save to apply the settings.
Visit the frontend of your WordPress site.
In the top admin bar (top-right corner), locate and click “Clear Caches.”
From the dropdown menu, choose “Clear All Caches.”
This action clears outdated content, helping ensure the plugin is appropriately recognized by OTTO.
Once you’ve followed these steps, return to your OTTO dashboard and click Scan. The system should now detect the pixel and display confirmation. If it still doesn’t, try re-clearing the cache or reach out to Support for help — we’re happy to walk you through it.
