Search Atlas API Key

SearchAtlas WordPress plugin allows its users to seamlessly integrate their WP website with SearchAtlas tools and AI content assistant. Use the API Key to sync Search Atlas with WordPress.

How To Access Search Atlas API Key

1- From SearchAtlas homepage go to Settings Icon on top right

2- Go to “API Key” tab


3- Click “Copy API Key Button” and paste it in Search Atlas Plugin's settings

Bring Your Own Keys Features Walkthrough

1- Open SearchAtlas

2- Go to the main menu and click on the gear icon

3- Click "API Key"


4- Insert Your OpenAI and/or Anthropic API keys

5- Click “Update Keys” Button


6- The API Keys have been saved successfully


Note: The quotas distribution with respect to the “Bring Your Own Keys” feature does not apply to Otto’s AI generation features. It is only applicable to content genius.

As you are using your personal OpenAI or Anthropic API keys SearchAtlas only charges a minimal quota that covers the cost of tools NLP analysis and AI infrastructure.

  • Can I use the Bring Your Own Keys feature with all SearchAtlas plans?

No, the Bring Your Own Keys feature is not available for starter and growth plans. It requires a pro or enterprise SearchAtlas subscription to get API integrations enabled.

  • What Is an OpenAI API key?

The number of OpenAI tokens consumed depends on the length and complexity of your content. Tokens represent pieces of words, and each API call counts towards your token usage, with around 750 words using approximately 1,000 tokens.

  • How many Anthropic tokens will I consume while writing AI content?

Anthropic token consumption depends on the size of the text generated or processed, where tokens are fragments of words. On average, a single message or piece of content may use thousands of tokens depending on its length and model used.

  • Why should I use my own API keys? What benefits will I get?

Using your own API keys with SearchAtlas gives you more AI generation capabilities. It also allows users to generate more content by utilizing their own OpenAI and Anthropic tokens within the SearchAtlas AI content tools.

  • I have am having an issue with the Anthropic API key, it says it expired although the key was recently refreshed. Can you please help?

    Please make sure that you have a paid plan and credits in your Anthropic account and then try again. This issues usually account due to low credit.
