💬 What a presales consultation covers
A consultation is a meeting with a Search Atlas SEO product expert. Use Book a Consultation where that button is shown. It opens the onboarding page in a new tab and continues into account setup. It is not a chat request, and questions and replies do not stay in one thread.
Use this option when you want help choosing a plan, understanding what is included, or reviewing how Search Atlas can support your SEO workflow before you buy or upgrade.
📋 What to prepare before you write
A short, clear message helps the team respond with useful information on the first reply. Include:
- Your goal, such as local SEO, content, reporting, or agency client work
- Company or site context, including roughly how many sites or locations you manage
- The plan or feature you want to discuss, if you already have one in mind
- Timing, such as whether you are evaluating now or planning a later start
- Any must-have questions so nothing important is left out
🚀 How to request the consultation
- Sign in to Search Atlas.
- Open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform.
- Do not request a consultation by sending a chat message. Use Book a Consultation, which opens the onboarding page, or book a 1-1 onboarding call from More features with Book Your 1-1 Onboarding Call. For enterprise plan questions, use Get a Quote or Contact Sales on Pricing, which opens searchatlas.com/enterprise-quote/ in a new tab.
- Add the details from the list above.
- After you book, stay on the booking page or in the new tab. Replies are not sent back into a consultation chat, and there are no follow-up questions waiting in the same thread.
You do not need a separate form. The chat message is the request. A member of our support team will reply in the chat and route sales questions to the right person.
⚙️ What happens after you send the message
Booking a consultation or 1-1 onboarding call puts you on a calendar, not in a review queue. An enterprise quote is submitted on the quote page in a new tab. The team does not reply in the same chat, ask clarifying questions there, or point you to the next step from that thread.
Keep the chat open or return to it later to read the reply. Sending a second message in the same thread is fine if you need to add context. Starting many separate chats can slow the response, so continue the existing conversation when you can.
💡 Tips for a faster, clearer reply
- State that you want a presales consultation in the first sentence.
- Ask specific questions instead of only saying you want to talk with sales.
- Mention whether you are a new customer or already have an account.
- Share your preferred follow-up window in general terms, such as this week, if timing matters.
If you need further assistance, open the chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the platform and send your message. A member of our support team will reply in the chat.
