Some customers want to evaluate OTTO on more than one domain, add another OTTO site after a recent upgrade, or ask whether a discount is available on the Pro or Growth plan. This article explains how those requests are handled and what you can expect.
📊 How OTTO pricing normally works
OTTO access is tied to your Search Atlas plan and to the sites included with that plan. Published plan prices are the standard rates. There is no self-serve trial that adds two or three extra domains. Sites beyond your plan are added as paid OTTO site top-ups, which you can buy yourself. A custom price is a separate offer created by our team.
- Pro plan: Flexibility is not automatic. A recent upgrade does not by itself unlock extra OTTO sites or a temporary test rate.
- Extra domains: Each OTTO site you want to run should be listed in your request so the team can match it to the right plan.
- Evaluation use: connecting a site for learning still uses a plan-included or paid OTTO site. There is no separate short-test rate or review. It is billed the same way as a production site.
🚀 When a Growth plan discount may apply
If you need a price below the published plans, our team can review a custom offer. For Growth, the published price is $199 per month for 2 OTTO sites. A lower price, such as $150 per month, is set only on an individual account by our team. It is not a public coupon and it is not applied automatically.
- A custom Growth price is considered only when our team agrees that the published plan price does not fit your account. A recent upgrade or a short evaluation does not by itself qualify you for a $150 rate.
- Approval depends on your current plan, billing status, and how many OTTO sites you need.
- A custom plan price applies only to the plan and site count our team confirms. It does not unlock unlimited domains. Additional OTTO sites are billed as top-ups unless the agreement includes them. There is no free trial for two or three extra domains.
- A custom price applies only to the account our team updates. It continues on the normal billing cycle until our team changes it. It does not change the public price list. Ask our team to confirm any end date, because the product does not end it automatically.
🛠️ What to include when you ask
A complete request is usually resolved faster and avoids a second escalation. Have these details ready before you open chat:
- The domains you want to connect. Our team will confirm how many are included in your plan or custom agreement. Any others are paid OTTO site top-ups.
- Whether each domain is for learning only or for ongoing SEO work.
- Your current plan and the date of your recent upgrade, if you have one.
- How many OTTO sites you already have and how many you want to add.
- Whether you are asking about your current Pro plan or a custom Growth plan price. Growth's published price is $199 per month. Any other amount has to be confirmed for your account.
⚙️ What happens after your request
A teammate reviews the account and confirms what will change: stay on your current plan, move to a published plan, or apply a custom price. You will see the price and the number of OTTO sites before it is applied. Do not buy extra sites or assume a discount is active until that change is confirmed.
If a custom Growth price is approved, our team applies it to your subscription. After it is active, connect only the OTTO sites included in that agreement. Additional sites are paid top-ups. The custom price keeps billing until our team changes it, so ask for a new review before assuming it has ended.
