💳 Find a Missing Monthly Payment ID

Last updated on Oct 29, 2026

💳 What this article covers

Search Atlas does not show customers a monthly payout transaction ID for partner payouts, referral rewards, or approved credits. If you are a Publication Media publisher, a PayPal Transaction ID is created only after a payout is actually sent. This article explains where that ID appears and what to share if you still cannot find the payment.

🔎 Where to find the transaction ID

Start inside your Search Atlas account before requesting a manual lookup. The transaction ID is the reference that your bank or payment provider uses to match an incoming transfer.

  1. Sign in to Publication Media and open Earning History from your profile menu.
  2. On Earning History, review the remittance list. The earnings summary can be filtered by All, Today, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
  3. Find the remittance row for the payment you are checking.
  4. Copy the value in the PAYPAL TRANSACTION ID column. It is present only after the payout has been sent successfully.
  5. Check the STATUS column. Paid means the payout was sent. Unpaid means it has not been sent yet.

Also check the email inbox for your Publication Media account, including spam or promotions. The Payment Sent email includes the amount, Transaction ID, and PayPal email.

⏱️ Why a payment may not show yet

A missing deposit does not always mean the payment failed. These are the most common reasons:

  • Processing time: After a payment is marked sent, banks and payment providers can take several business days to post it. Weekends and holidays can add delay.
  • There is no minimum balance you must reach. Eligible posted-article earnings are grouped into an unpaid remittance, and staff sends the payout. The portal says payouts are issued during the first week of each month for earnings cleared in the previous month.
  • Publisher payouts are sent to the PayPal email in Account Settings. A missing PayPal email blocks payment, and an unsuccessful PayPal payout is not marked paid.
  • Confirm that the PayPal email in Account Settings is the email that should receive the payout. The profile name is not checked against the PayPal account name.
  • Earning History is a list of remittances, not a calendar of the months when the work happened. Use the DATE column to identify the remittance.

✅ What to check before contacting support

Use this short checklist so the payment can be traced quickly:

  • In Account Settings, confirm that the saved PayPal email is current.
  • Review the last two monthly entries, not only the latest one.
  • Search your bank or payment-provider activity for Search Atlas and for any reference you already copied.
  • Note the expected amount, currency, and the month you believe the payment covers.
  • If the row says unpaid, or paid with an empty PAYPAL TRANSACTION ID, include a screenshot of the full row when you contact support.

Do not share full bank account numbers, card numbers, or passwords in chat. A transaction ID, the last four digits of an account, the amount, and the payout month are enough.

🛠️ If the ID is missing or the payment never arrived

If the history shows no payment for that month, or the status says sent but nothing has posted after several business days, contact support with the month, expected amount, payout method, and any partial reference you found. Our team can confirm whether a transaction ID was issued and resend the reference.
