🤖 AI Agent Quota Across Multiple Client Accounts

Last updated on Oct 29, 2026

📌 Overview

If you manage SEO for several clients, you may wonder whether each one needs its own AI Agent quota or whether your usage is shared. This article explains how to think about AI Agent usage across multiple client accounts, how to monitor it, and what to confirm with our team before you scale up.

Note: How quota is allocated depends on your plan and how your projects are set up. Check your own account for the exact numbers that apply to you.

❓ Do I Need to Buy Extra Quota for Each Client?

Not automatically. Adding a client or project does not by itself mean you must purchase separate quota for it. AI Agent usage is charged to one allowance on the account, so every client project draws from that same account balance.

  • Shared across your account: every client project draws from one common pool, so heavy use on one client leaves less for the others.
  • There is no separate allowance per project or workspace. Every client project on the same account draws from that account's AI Agent credits, so usage in one project reduces what is left for the others. A different client account has its own allowance.

Open Billing to review your account’s available credits and usage. Where available, the Atlas Agent Credits row shows account-level AI Agent usage and allowance, not a separate allowance for each project. If your account uses Universal Credits, check that balance too. Contact our team if the figures are unclear. 🔍 How to Check Your Current Usage

  1. Log in to the Search Atlas platform.
  2. Open your account menu and select Billing. If Billing is unavailable for your role, ask your account administrator to check the allowance. (customer-frontend/src/components/layoutV2/user-menu/index.tsx:241–261)
  3. Find the AI Agent usage information for your current billing period.
  4. Note how much quota you have used and how much remains.
  5. The usage view shows one account total. It does not compare AI Agent usage between client projects, so you cannot see which project used the most from that screen.

Where available, the Atlas Agent Credits row shows credits used against the total available allowance, including recurring and purchased credits. Purchased credits roll over until used. Usage updates after processing, so allow time and refresh Billing if a recent task is not yet reflected. 📊 Planning Your Usage Across Clients

If your quota is shared, a little planning keeps one client from using everything. These habits help:

  • Estimate per client: decide roughly how many AI Agent tasks each client needs each month.
  • Prioritize high-value work: run the tasks that matter most for each client first.
  • Batch similar requests: group related tasks into one clear request instead of many small, repeated ones.
  • Avoid duplicate runs: check whether a task has already been completed before running it again.
  • Review mid-cycle: check your usage around the middle of the billing period so you can adjust early.

⚠️ What Happens If You Run Low?

If you are close to your limit, you can usually do one of the following:

  • Wait for your quota to refresh at the start of the next billing period.
  • Reduce or reschedule lower-priority tasks.
  • Review your plan to see whether a higher tier or add-on better fits the number of clients you manage.

Before purchasing anything, confirm how the change would apply to all of your client accounts so you only pay for what you need.

🛠️ Common Questions

  • Does adding a new client reset or increase my quota? Adding a client does not automatically change your quota. Check your usage page after adding one to see whether anything changed.
  • Can I see which client used the most? Where project-level usage is shown, compare the figures across your projects. If you cannot find this breakdown, ask our team.
  • Will my team members use the same quota? Team usage generally counts toward the account or plan it belongs to. Confirm this if several people run tasks on your account.
