If your DA has recently gone up but the platform still shows an older number, you may be blocked from activating even though your site now qualifies. Domain Authority is a score that is calculated and refreshed on a schedule. It is not a live number. This means:
- The value in the platform is a saved snapshot from the last time your site was checked.
- Third-party tools and browser extensions may show a newer score than the platform if they refreshed more recently.
- Different tools use different methods, so scores can vary slightly between them.
- Your site may have improved after our last check, so the platform has not caught up yet.
For example, if your site is now DA 21 in another tool but the platform still shows a lower number, the platform is most likely displaying older data. It does not mean your improvement was lost.
✅ Before You Request a Recheck
A few quick checks will help us resolve this faster:
- Confirm your current DA. Check your score in a reliable DA checker and note the number and the date you checked it.
- Take a screenshot. Capture the DA value shown in the platform and the value from the other tool.
- Confirm the exact domain. Make sure the domain added to your project matches the one you checked, including whether it uses www or not, and http or https.
- Refresh your view. Reload the page, or log out and back in, to rule out a cached display.
