## **🔍 Overview**

Once a press release in Signal Genesys reaches Report Available, you can open its report to see where it was published and the live placement links. While it is still being reviewed or distributed, use its status and timeline to follow progress. This article shows you how to find and open the report, what it contains, and what to do if placements are still missing.

## **✅ Before You Start**

- Make sure you are logged in to the Signal Genesys account that owns the press release.
- Confirm the press release was fully submitted and not left as a draft.
- If you manage more than one brand, select the correct brand from the brand filter so you are looking at the right press releases.

## **🚀 How to View a Press Release Report**

1. Log in to your Search Atlas account.
2. Log in to Signal Genesys and use its main navigation menu.
3. Open Press Releases to view your Press Release List.
4. Find the press release by searching its headline or exact ID. You can also use Filters to narrow the list by status or publish date.
5. Open the actions menu on the press release row. Do not click the headline itself.
6. When the status is Report Available, choose View Report. If the status is Publishing, View Report only explains that the distribution report is not ready yet.

The report opens as its own Press Release Report page, but only after the release reaches Report Available.

## **📊 What You Can Expect in the Report**

The Press Release Report shows the headline and distribution results. Depending on the release and its channels, it can include:

- Status: the press release list shows the current status, such as Pending, Awaiting Publication, Publishing, or Report Available. The full report opens when the status is Report Available.
- **Publication details:** the sites or networks where your release was published.
- **Live links:** links to the published versions of your press release.
- Dates: the list shows the scheduled publish date, while the underlying release record also stores when it was created and when publication occurred.

If the release is still Publishing, its report is not ready yet. A finished report can still show pending distributors, and some channels are listed without placement links.

## **🧭 Tips for Reading Your Report**

- Start with the **status** to see if the distribution is finished.
- Open the live links to confirm that your content, links, and branding look correct.
- Use Copy Report Link from the press release actions to copy a shareable report link, or export the report as a PDF or spreadsheet.
- Check back after a day or two if the release was just submitted, since publication is not always instant.

## **🛠️ Troubleshooting Common Issues**

**I cannot find my press release.**

- Check that you are in the correct account, project, or workspace.
- Clear any filters or search terms applied to the list.
- Look for drafts, since a press release that was never submitted will not have a report.

**The report is empty or incomplete.**

- The press release may still be processing. Wait a little while and refresh the page.
- Check the status to see if it is still pending.

**The report will not open.**

- Refresh the page and try again.
- Log out and back in to reload your session.
- Try a different browser or an incognito window to rule out extensions or cached data.

**A link in the report does not work.**

- Wait a short time and try again, as some publications take time to go live.
- Make sure you copied the full link without missing characters.

## **💡 Best Practices**

- Review your report soon after the press release is marked complete, so you can spot any issues early.
- Keep a record of your live links for your own reporting.
- When asking for help, note the press release title and submission date so the team can find it quickly.
