## **📧 Why Your Email and Dashboard May Look Different**

Search Atlas sends regular LLM Visibility email digests that highlight citation gains, positive brand mentions, and visibility movement across AI-powered search engines. These numbers are a snapshot of activity over a specific reporting period. When you open the dashboard after reading a great email report, the data you see may reflect a different date range or a broader view — which can make the dashboard look less impressive at first glance. This article will show you exactly where to find the metrics that match what you see in your email.

## **🔍 Step 1: Navigate to Site Metrics**

The LLM Visibility data lives inside the **Site Metrics** section of Search Atlas. To get there:

1. Log in to your Search Atlas account.
2. In the **left sidebar**, click **Site Metrics**.
3. Locate and select the site you want to review (for example, **virtuas.com**) from the list.
4. You will land on the **Overview** sub-page for that site.

## **📈 Step 2: Open the Overview Sub-Page**

The **Overview** sub-page is the primary place to review aggregated performance data for your site, including LLM citation and visibility trends. To reach it directly:

1. From **Site Metrics**, click your site name or ID in the list.
2. Then select **Overview** from the sub-navigation.

Here you will find a consolidated view of your site's performance metrics, including any LLM-related visibility movement that was summarised in your email report.

## **📅 Step 3: Match the Date Range to Your Email Report**

A very common reason the dashboard appears to show weaker numbers is a mismatched date range. Your email digest covers a fixed reporting window (for example, the past 7 or 30 days). The dashboard may default to a different period.

- Locate the **date range selector** at the top of the Overview page.
- Set the start and end dates to match the period covered in your email report.
- The metrics will update to reflect that specific window, and you should see numbers consistent with your email.

## **🗝️ Step 4: Review Keywords and Pages for Deeper Detail**

If you want to drill further into the specific queries or pages driving your LLM visibility gains, use the additional sub-pages under Site Metrics:

- **Keywords** — Shows which keyword-level queries are generating citations and impressions in AI-powered results.
- **Pages** — Breaks down performance by individual page, so you can see which content is being cited most.
- **Site Events** — Logs notable changes or milestones that may correlate with visibility spikes mentioned in your email.

To access any of these, click **Site Metrics** in the left sidebar, select your site, and then choose the relevant sub-page from the navigation.

## **💡 Tips for Keeping Email and Dashboard in Sync**

- **Check your email report date:** The header of your LLM Visibility email will state the exact reporting period. Use this to set your dashboard date range.
- **Bookmark your site's Overview page:** Going directly to **Site Metrics → [Your Site] → Overview** saves time and ensures you are always looking at the right property.
- **Use the correct site:** If you manage multiple domains, confirm the correct site is selected in the Site Metrics list before reviewing data.

## **🛠️ Still Not Seeing the Right Numbers?**

If you have matched the date range and navigated to the correct site but the dashboard still does not reflect the metrics from your email, there may be a data sync delay or a configuration issue worth investigating.
