## **📍 How location targeting works**

Keyword Magic lets you research keywords for a specific geographic location. You can enter a location such as a state, city, or country before starting your search. The selected location determines the market used for the keyword results.

## **🛠️ Select a specific location**

1. Open **Keywords** from the left sidebar.
2. Select **Keyword Magic**.
3. Enter your seed keyword.
4. In the location field, enter and select the location you need, such as **Utah**.
5. Confirm that the selected location is displayed before clicking **Search**.

## **🔎 If results show the United States**

If the results display the general United States location, the search may have used the default location instead of the specific location you intended. Return to **Keywords → Keyword Magic**, enter the location again, select the matching suggestion, and start a new search.

- Make sure you select the location from the suggested options rather than only typing its name.
- Check the location shown in the search controls before searching.
- Start a new search after changing the location; previously loaded results may retain the original market.

## **✅ Confirm the search location**

Review the location shown with the search or results before using the keyword data. If it shows **Utah**, the results are targeted to that location. If it shows **United States**, repeat the search with the specific location selected.
