## **🛍️ Before you begin**

Make sure you have administrator access to both your Search Atlas account and Shopify store. Keep your Shopify store address available, including the **.myshopify.com** domain.

## **🔌 Connect Shopify**

1. Sign in to Search Atlas.
2. Open **Coworker** from the left sidebar.
3. Select the **Connectors** tab.
4. Choose **Shopify** from the available CMS connectors.
5. Enter your Shopify store address when prompted, then select **Connect**.
6. Review the requested permissions and approve the connection in Shopify.
7. Return to Search Atlas and wait for the connector status to show as connected.

## **✅ Verify the connection**

Open **Coworker → Connectors** and confirm that Shopify is listed as connected. If Search Atlas displays a project or store selection, choose the Shopify store you want to use and save your selection.

After connecting, allow time for Search Atlas to retrieve your store data. Refresh the connector page if the status does not update immediately.

## **🛠️ Troubleshoot connection issues**

- Confirm that you used the store’s **.myshopify.com** address rather than a customer-facing domain.
- Check that you are signed in to the correct Shopify account and have administrator permissions.
- Remove extra spaces from the store address and try again.
- If Shopify opens in another browser tab, complete the authorization there before returning to Search Atlas.
- Return to **Coworker → Connectors** and refresh the page to check the latest status.
- If the connector is already linked to another Search Atlas project, disconnect it there before connecting it to a new project.

## **🔄 Reconnect or update Shopify**

To refresh an existing connection, open **Coworker → Connectors**, select the Shopify connector, and follow the authorization prompts again. Reauthorization can resolve expired permissions or changes to your Shopify account.
